Pets V.S. Food

What's the difference between the animals we love and the animals we eat? One might have a name, the other doesn't. One is tagged "pretty" by pet stores, the other is labeled "tasty" by meat markets. And we love this animal while eating that animal, having no clue that merchants manipulated by means of cruelty behind the back, have successfully cut off the connection in between- both of them, are animals in the same measure.
